What is a Crown and Bridge?

A bridge is a prosthetic tooth (or teeth) fixed to one or more adjacent teeth capped with a dental crown or crowns. A fixed bridge is made up of three components: the false tooth or teeth and two supporting crowned teeth. If none of the neighboring teeth are healthy enough to support the bridge, a titanium post, known as a dental implant, may be used to anchor the bridge.
